But after all, we’re talking about a manual-transmission Honda NSX here—that legendary mid-engine beast from the 1990s!

A car that’s surely familiar to every true petrolhead fan—whether from a showroom, a video game console, or the ADAC GT Cup. With its aluminum monocoque and cockpit inspired by the F-16 fighter jet, the Honda NSX remains an absolute dream car even nearly 30 years after its debut. And it’s definitely worth taking a moment to pause and truly appreciate it before hitting the road.

We now have one of the best-preserved examples of this classic car available for sale.

Sold in 1992 as a new car by a Honda dealership in Utrecht, the Netherlands, to an entrepreneur residing in Switzerland, the car subsequently passed through two additional owners in France before finding its way into the collection of a regular German customer of Sportwagen Teiber.

In the meantime, this Honda NSX has received extensive care in the form of maintenance and the resolution of teething problems such as the air conditioning, the Bose stereo system, and the clutch. The timing belt and water pump have also been replaced regularly, most recently in 2019.

The condition of this Honda NSX is beyond reproach and is substantiated by extensive documentation in the form of invoices, correspondence, expert opinions, and MOT inspection (HU) reports.

The interior looks just like that of a car less than a year old and greets passengers with the sweet scent so typical of Japanese cars. The “ Exterior ” in the color “NH547 / Berlina Black” is mostly in “ original paint ” and shows only minor signs of wear.

The standard equipment package, which is already very generous, includes the following features, among others:

The key points of the vehicle’s recent service history are as follows: September 2023 at 26,572 km: Clutch slave and master cylinders replaced; maintenance performed at HONDA / October 2022 at 26,274 km: Hi-Fi speakers replaced with original parts at HONDA / June 2022 at 25,999 km: Air conditioning system converted to R134a at HONDA / November 2019 at 25,203 km: timing belt replacement with water pump replacement.

A valid " historic vehicle appraisal (H plate) " certificate from 2022 in accordance with §23 of the StVZO, as well as the German registration certificates 1 and ZB2, are on file; therefore, there is nothing standing in the way of registering the vehicle as a classic car.
