We’ve had the great pleasure of squeezing in a few drives on summer evenings over the past few days, alternating between trade-in and detailing. And while the Porsche Boxster has always been a car we’ve enjoyed driving, the latest version of this mid-engine sports car has once again wowed us. It’s more nimble than its bigger brothers with “11” in their names. It offers plenty of space and, even with the top down, a peaceful ride—even for people who are two meters tall. And it has a four-cylinder engine that responds like a naturally aspirated engine, delivers power in abundance, and draws attention with a sound that starts off bass-heavy and later turns into a growl.
