A rare opportunity for VW collectors—a Passat Variant GT Syncro with the coveted 2.2-liter 5-cylinder engine (120, PS) and 5-speedmanual transmission is for sale in absolutely pristine condition:

  • From 2. Second-hand: delivered new in Germany , sold in May 1986 by VAG Berner in Wolfratshausen to the first owner (an engineer from the Rosenheim district); only from August 2020 until recently in the possession of a second German owner (a customer of our dealership, from whom we accepted the vehicle in trade for another collector’s item); original first vehicle title is available—in pristine condition and without any additional entries
  • Absolutely accident-free and completely in its original paint—this is guaranteed and can also be verified with a paint thickness gauge
  • Original mileage: only 48,252 km
  • Completely rust- and corrosion-free—the original owner took great care to preserve and seal his vehicle immediately after the First registration
  • In pristine factory-new condition with no subsequent technical modifications

We now have one of the best-preserved examples of this model in stock. This Passat Variant GT Syncro was ordered and delivered with the following optional equipment—the “ original new-car invoice ” and the original brochures for this model from that time are available:

  • P1 Alpine White
  • UK cloth , "Double Stripe" in Black and Silver
  • R22 "gamma" radio (works perfectly)
  • 103 reinforced shock absorbers
  • 208 Trailer Hitch
  • 303 Engine Protection
  • 430 Colored Glass
  • 469 roof rack crossbars (these are still intact; see photos)
  • 560 sunroof
  • 621 Reinforced Generator
  • The GT Syncro came standard with, among other things: a lockable rear differential and center differential (works flawlessly), 6x14 aluminum wheels (fitted with brand-new tires by us), sport seats, a height-adjustable driver's seat, a cargo area cover, and power steering
  • The original owner added a few nice, period-appropriate touches back then: a DCS onboard computer, additional gauges, a thermometer, and a mount for auxiliary headlights, including a switch.

Complete vehicle registration certificate ( owner's wallet ) including the original vehicle registration certificate (service book ) with data sticker and a full set of keys. Current vehicle registration certificate ( historic vehicle appraisal (H plate) ) for historic registration (H plate) dated January 2020. In August 2020, at 46,840 km, a major service including all necessary work was performed on our behalf prior to the vehicle being transferred to the second owner (invoice for €1,950.46 is available):

  • Replacement of all fluids, filters, and belts
  • Replacement of the timing belt, tensioner pulley, and water pump
  • Replacement of the antenna, muffler, windshield wipers, battery, and much more.

Don't miss out on this truly special VW rarity—it would be nearly impossible to find another top-quality example that's even close to being this original and perfectly preserved...
